Mental Health Supports

Dear St. Mark Families,

I hope you have been able to spend some time this summer enjoying your family and the beautiful sunny weather.

By now, you will have responded to the CDSBEO survey about whether your child(ren) will be returning to school in-person or online in September.  Such decisions can be challenging for families as you consider your own unique circumstances and the best interests of your children.  Please be reassured that all decisions are good decisions!

As we prepare for the beginning of the school year, I will send letters to you through the School Messenger platform.  CDSBEO has provided principals with informational letters for our school families, and I will also send you further information that is specific to St. Mark Catholic School.  Please continue to check your emails so you will be up to date as we move toward the first day of school on Friday, September 4th. Information will also be shared on our school website and Facebook page.

Today, we are sending home a letter in regards to Mental Health supports that are available for you and your family. Please Click HERE to access the PDF version of the letter. In the next week or so, you will also receive more details about what school will look like for your child. We will include information related to pick up and drop off procedures, school hours, expectations regarding health and safety, items that your child will need to bring and much more.  Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

I look forward to the reopening of our lovely school and to working with you to ensure a safe, productive, and supportive learning environment for your children.

Sincerely,

Karlene Elliott

Principal, St. Mark Catholic School
