CDSBEO Summer Learning Program

Each day, students will connect with a teacher for 2 hours of synchronous learning. This will be scheduled in learning blocks throughout the day to ensure a variety of learning experiences and increased engagement for our students. Registration closes on Friday, June 5 at Noon.

Retrieving Students’ Personal Belongings

Given the extension of the school closure to the end of June 2020, distance learning will continue until the end of the school year, however, the Board has deemed that the gathering of personal belongings can occur under the specific conditions set out in the letter below and that have been approved by local public health.

Learning at Home

Take a look at these great steps to battle online fatigue which may evolve with distance learning. Remember that Monday, May 18th is Victoria Day so there will be no lessons until Tuesday next week. Enjoy the long weekend everyone!

St. Mark Bell Time Changes for 2020-2021

St. Mark Catholic School will experience a change to the timing of the start and end of the school day, otherwise known as bell times, effective September 2020. This change will facilitate a standard length of the school day and will affect bus pickup and drop off schedules for our school. Please read this letter for details: ST. MARK CS Bell Time Changes. Note that there are links to a Childcare survey within the letter, as well as links to register for a virtual information session being held on May 19th, 20th and 21st for our region. Registration for the session must take place by May 14th.

Catholic Education Week Board-wide Mass

This week, we celebrate Catholic Education Week virtually! Student Usernames and Passwords

Dear Parents & Guardians:
Teachers have sent out usernames and passwords for students this week by email. Students will need this information to access TEAMS, the online platform for the delivery of the “Learn from Home” program. If you haven’t received anything, please reach out to your child’s teacher. Phase 2 – Learn at Home

Dear Families,
With the extension of school closures until May 4, 2020, we are now moving forward, as of April 6th, with Phase 2 of the Ministry of Education’s plan for ongoing distance learning – Learn at Home.
Students can access their school’s online learning portal through Many students will know their username and password as it is the same as what they have used to login on school devices.
