Phase 2 – Learn at Home

Dear Families,
With the extension of school closures until May 4, 2020, we are now moving forward, as of April 6th, with Phase 2 of the Ministry of Education’s plan for ongoing distance learning – Learn at Home.
Students can access their school’s online learning portal through Many students will know their username and password as it is the same as what they have used to login on school devices.
If you experience any issues logging into a device or require your login credentials, please contact our support team:

If your call is not answered immediately, please leave a detailed voice message including your name and phone number and an ICT support technician will respond to you as soon as possible. Microsoft Office 365

The TEAMS software, which is a Microsoft Office application, will be our online platform for delivering the Phase 2 Learn at Home program for all St. Mark students. Students each have a login and password which can be acquired from your child’s homeroom teacher.

To access TEAMS, please use the following instructions to access Microsoft Office 365 and use your child’s login to sign in. Once logged in, you can use the online platform, or you have the option to “Install Office” which will install the applications on your home device.

Update for CDSBEO Families

Dear CDSBEO families,
On March 31st, the Ministry of Education officially announced that all publicly funded schools in Ontario, including those in the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario, will
remain closed until May 4, 2020, to further prevent the spread of COVID-19. At this time, we do not know if further extensions will be announced but commit to keeping you
updated as new information becomes available.

The Ministry of Education also announced it is entering phase two of its Learn at Home strategy to support the continuity of learning. School boards expect to receive details and direction from the ministry later today, and we will take time and care to review the at-home learning plan we are developing to ensure alignment. We expect to share details with you very soon. Our plan will outline how your child’s educator will deliver curriculum remotely, include expectations for students, and provide an overview of how we plan to ensure equitable access to learning during the closure.

information, including supplementary online learning resources, and links to other official information channels, as well as regularly updated Frequently Asked Questions.

Kindergarten Registration Week – January 13-17, 2020

St. Mark Catholic School is now accepting new student registrations for September 2020! Please visit the CDSBEO registration page at for information on how to register your child. We look forward to welcoming your child to Kindergarten!

Christmas Concert

We are delighted to present our Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 11th at 6pm. Parents and families are invited to attend to hear classes sing songs and present Christmas plays. Please see the list below for the classes who are participating:

Snowsuit and Boot Drive: Nov. 2 to Dec. 7

Parents of St. Mark School community, please check your closets for snowsuits, coats, boots, mittens/gloves, scarves, and hats/tuques that are still in good shape, but you no longer need. (Don’t worry about cleaning them – this will be done.)  Students can bring them in a bag on the school bus and grade 5 students will come around each day to collect them at each classroom.  The Family and Children’s Services of Brockville will give them to community members who need them.  Thank you for helping to ensure that everyone keeps warm this winter season!

Girls Inc. will be offering Fall P.A. Day programs on October 25th and November 29th at St. Michael Catholic High School.

Conquer the Unhealthy You – Kids

Conquer The Unhealthy You KIDS or CTUY KIDS is for kids aged 8-14 years old who are willing to learn better nutrition habits and incorporate more movement into their day with small steps. One of the main goals of CTUY KIDS is to teach ACCOUNTABILITY. The kids will learn what foods are best to choose and how to incorporate them into their day more often. They will also learn the importance of staying active and be given expectations to meet with both food and exercise each week. This is not a competition against each other in the group. It is about seeing that they can do better each day in both areas and maybe even in other areas of life moving forward because of the lessons learned and experienced.
